Time Formatting - Not able to sum up the time when converted to text format.

Hi,

I am not able to SUM the time as its in text format. The reason behind converting the time to text format I do not want the AM & PM which specifically comes after the time. Hence to get rid of those AM & PM I have converted the time to Text format, but I am not able to SUM up the column as the time entered is in text format.

I have attached a sample for reference. (I need to sum up the time column but without AM & PM)

Please advice.

If required the time can be converted to 24 hr format or can be rounded of to get the desired result.

No need to convert to text.
Format the cells that are displaying the time as eg: 06:15 AM. Go to Format cells > Number > Then in the Type: enter hh:mm

Cells will add up then.
