Counting data entered by day

Hi all. New to this site so sorry if I ask the wrong things!

for upload.xlsx

I have data like attached and I would like to count the how many times the results in game type (F) happens on each day

So
01-Nov-12 “MV” =2
01-Nov-12 “PZ3” = 1
Etc

Currently I have counted how many game types happen on each day using the below in H2 and then I can change the date part when I do the other dates. I now though want to breakdown each day with the amount of certain game types as described above.
=COUNTIF(Sheet1!A2:A356,H1)

Rahul that's perfect but I have loads of dates and months to do. any chance of telling me how you did it?

1st selects the total data
2nd Go to DATA Menu and client on Pivot table
3rd clink next and again next
4th client finish
5th Drag Match Date into column
6th Drag Match Type in Row
7th Drag Match Date in to data
