VLOOKUP getting totals

Is it possible when using the VLOOKUP to get totals from the results of this ?

I want to have a total of the extra % for each of the sale types - DISTANCE and PHYSCIAL

No Vlookup will only lookup a value.

Unfortunately my work pc and the company only have excel 2003..! can I use a SUMIF formula or COUNTIF ???
