Question Date Time Difference Calculation to Decimal

    Hello,

I'm new to the forum, and am hoping there's someone around to help get me through a roadblock I encountered today.
I'm exporting from a database, I'm working with a start time and an end date in the format of "1/5/2013 18:43".

I calculated the difference between the two using this formula: =TEXT(G66-J65, "d:h:mm")
It is calculating the time between the previous "end date" and the current "start date"

Problem is I need to graph these values preferably in the format of 5.66, meaning five days and the decimal representation of the hours & minutes between the two dates.
    Any ideas?

If you need any extra information, I will gladly provide!

    Thanks so much in advance.

Why are you not just subtracting the dates? For instance:
    01/11/2013 13:01 - 01/05/2013 18:43 = 5.762852083
