pulling data to another worksheet, what formula?

    Morning,

This is my first time posting!

Setting up a spreadsheet for work to show how many new instructs we get in per month and from which regional office.

I have the information entered, just need to know what formular to use to pull the info over onto another worksheet.

Let me know what other info you need!

    Many thanks

    Sophie

There are several ways to pull the info over onto another worksheet. Depants on how your data look like and which are the informations that you want to get.
My suggestion is to upload a sample workbook.

To attach a file, push the button with the paperclip (or scroll down to the Manage Attachments button), browse to the required file, and then push the Upload button.

I have attached a 'dummy' spreadsheet.

What i need to show is on a seperate worksheet: how many instructions came in each month from each regional office and and a further work sheet how much each regional office generated for us in invoices by month.

Many many thanks for your help

    YES!

    Thank you.

I do also need to show how many intructions came in from each region per month, ie: in Sept we had 3 instructions from the South and 1 from the North, how would I do that?

Thank you so much for your help

In B2 and copy down and across.

    =SUMPRODUCT((Sheet1!$C$4:$C$29=Sheet3!$A2)*(Sheet1!$A$4:$A$29=Sheet3!B$1))
