Help with calculating time, excluding weekends

Hello there! I need some help figuring out a formula to use to calculate the time between 2 dates (during work hours and excluding weekends). I need the calculated time between the "Date In" & "Date sent". Any help would be extremely appreciated! Also, a step by step explanation would be absolutely amazing

Does the "Date in" and "Date sent" include both time and date or just a date?

What are the work hours?

Can the Date in and/or Date Sent fall outside the work hours?

Thanks so much for the quick reply @daddylonglegs. The 'Date In' and 'Date Out' just include the date. Work hours are 7am-4:30pm. Yes the date in/date out can fall outside work hours.
