Seperating numbers from text

Hi

I need a formula to copy text from a column contain a mix of empty spaces, text and numbers although these are not mixed they're either one or the other into an adjacent column, I've tried different IF formulas with no success, any help would be appreciated.

Column A: mix of Text, Number, Blank
Column B: =IF(ISTEXT(A2),A2,"")
Column C: =IF(ISNUMBER(A2),A2,"")
...copy down the formulas
