How to return data from other table using two criteria

    Hi,

I wonder if is there any formula that is able to return data from other table using two criteria. If I had one criteria I would use VLOOKUP, but I need two. For instance, I have a table with three columns such as product name, product color and reference. And I want to know wich is the reference for product A and color red.

I know about two possible solutions. First is by using pivot tables. Second is adding a forth column on the mother table by concatenating product name and product color, and then using the VLOOKUP for that single word. But I would rather use a formula if there is any instead off adding columns on the database or creating Pivots.

Your suggestions would be much appreciated.
