Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. I have an excel file with mailing address. Some of the name fields end with an "&" sign with nothing following it. I want a forumla that if the last character in the cell is an "&" sign I want to delete it. Thanks for your help.
=substitute(a1,"&","")
Thank you. It looks like this will delete the "&" sign anywhere it appears in the cell. How do I delete the "&" sign only if it appears at the end of the cell. Thanks again for your time.
