How to count cells between two row headings with different text?

I have headings in four columns (heading1, heading2, heading3, heading4) and multiple row headings (headingA, headingB etc...). How can i count the number of cells with text between the row headings and column headings? The column reference will always stay the same e.g; A, B... But the rows change when i add more in. An example of the headings are: "Read content offline" and "favourite teams"? Because i add cells to the range the cell reference changes every day, so i need the formula to notice the headings not the cell reference. For example, how many cells with text that covers all four columns but only between two row headings? And then the same but for only one of the columns?

I have attached an example for your reference. I would like a formula that counts how many cells that have text in, between headings "customisation" and "favourite team" for all four column headings collectively and individually.Excel.jpg

The COUNTA function doesn't work with this problem, because the range of cells is between words not cell references.

Sorry this is the first time i have used this forum, how do you post a workbook? I have tried searching but i can't find what this means?
