    find matching multiple data

    Hi
    i am new here

    I know what I am looking for is already discussed in this forum but unfortunately i didnot find...
    Anyway

    with CTRL+F i can find only one data, I want search multiple data at a time..for an example which row have the following data will highlighted

    e822-4.jpg
    e848-4.jpg
    e84ptw.jpg
    e918-1558-4.jpg
    e876-4.jpg
    e981-4s606.jpg
    e793-4.jpg
    e8ptw.jpg


    Is there any solution to find multiple data at a time..

    Any help will be appreciated

    Put that list of filenames into, say, Q1:Q8. Then highlight cells G1:G24, and bring up the Conditional Formatting dialogue box, Choose Formula Is rather than Cell Value Is, and enter this formula:

    =ISNUMBER(MATCH(G1,Q$1:Q$8,0))

    Click the Format button then choose the Patterns tab and choose your colour. Click OK twice to exit the dialogue box.

    Hi Pete

    Thank you so much for your nice help...Its Working perfectly..

    Just want ask you another question....suppose I have a CSV with 1000 row and i want to search

    only 200 data ..after getting the result of 200 row with that formula is that possible to delete rest of the 800 row.

    Oh..its very easy ..just highlight the column and SORT as put cell color selected on top...Thats all
