Assistance creating a formula that gives a standard value or a percentage depending on whi

I want a formula that will provide the answer 16.9% of a value or £34.50, whichever is the greater. Is this possible - so if the value is £150 the answer is £34.50, if the value is £300 the answer is £50.70.

    =MAX(A1*16.9%,34.5)

That's perfect - worked a treat cheers, just realised I need it to say £90 if greater than £90 so 16.9% of a value but no less than £34.50 and no more than £90?? Is this much more complicated?

    then add a MIN:
    =MIN(90,MAX(A1*16.9%,34.5))
