[SOLVED] COUNTIF trouble

Hello,
I have a spreadsheet which has 50 rows of text-based data using an IF formula:

Please Login or Register  to view this content.

This gives me empty cells if data isn't present on the RawData sheet.

Now, I want to count the number of cells where text is present. If I use COUNTIF as the following formula:

it returns 50 instead of 30. I presume this is because it is assuming that cells containing "" is also text.

How can I count these text cells?

Figured it out. I subtracted the count of "" values from total number using this formula:
