Thumbs up Need an if fucntion that works

    Hi,

i need an if function that will insert blank cells going downwards in a column, between numbers that are in sequence(1,2,3,4 etc)
basically my end result should look like this

    1
    (blankcell)
    2
    (blankcell)
    3
    (blankcell)
    4

but note i need to insert the cells from existing range of data:
    1000
    2000
    3000
    4000
    to look like above example

    please help

    Hi,

If functions, and formulae generally, can't insert cells. You would have to write a VBA procedure to achieve this. Best thing to do is use the macro recorder.
