Create calendar on one sheet by pulling dates from another

I have two sheets in a workbook. The first sheet is a tracking sheet (first and last name, date contacted, date initial workout, date of first follow up, etc.). The second sheet is a calendar. I would like to populate the calendar on sheet 2 with the names that correspond to the relative dates on sheet 1.

If Smith, Mike (List name "LastName" and "FirstName") had his initial workout on Oct 8 (List name "RTPhase1") on sheet 1, I would like one line on sheet 2 in the box labeled Oct 8 (I have 4 different rows for this box with the date in a seperate row) to fill with Mike Smith.

I have written the function: =IF(RTPhase1="date in relative box",FirstName&LastName). This consistenly returns a FALSE value. Is this even the right function?

Can I take this one step further and call up dates from another sheet? I have another sheet where I control inspections due, and would like the due dates to be autmatically called up on the calendar.
