Conditional Formatting - Change Text to CHAR(252) Automatically

Is there a way to setup a conditional formatting (or anything else), that will automatically change the text to a windings char(252) regardless of what is typed into the cell?

In other words, if somebody puts an "x" in the cell, when they hit enter, or go to another cell, it will automatically change it to the checkmark char(252)?

    Thank you!

You can't use conditional formatting to change the value in a cell.

To do that you would need code.

Okay, thank you! Where exactly do I put it?

It would only be used for H3:H33 and P3:P33 however...

That was just the basic code.

This narrows it down to the 2 ranges mentioned.

This goes in the worksheet module of the worksheet you want this to happen on.

To do that right click the worksheet's tab, select View Code and paste the code.

Think I got it... Although, I wish this could just be done in conditional formatting or something. I don't like having to save it as a different file type.

    Thank you for your help!

I put this code in for every sheet in my workbook. Certainly there is an easier way...

Thank you again for your help!
