    Square Footage of Wall

I am trying to calculate the square footage of a retaining wall.

I have a formula but I have to modify it every time I add top and bottom of wall. Is there a way to do it once and just copy the formula to all the cells?

    Test Wall.xlsx

Try changing your formula in I7 to:

    =SUMPRODUCT(B5:B1000-C5:C1000,I4*(B5:B1000>0))

Now you can add up to 995 tops and bottoms, and you can expand the formula beyond 1,000 rows, if required.
