    Creating a SUM formula that looks up date ranges selected and provides and answer - Part 2

    Hi,

    Please see the attached template. Basically, I want the sheet to be able to SUM the relevant amounts within a selected date range. If the date range then changes I want the SUM to change too.

    It should hopefully become more clear if you look at the attached template and read the comments added.

    I have been using the following formula but it doesn't seem to distinguish between the same month but in different years.

    =SUMPRODUCT((MONTH(E11:P11)>=MONTH(B4))*(MONTH(E11:P11)<=MONTH(B5))*(D12:D18=B2)*(E12:P18))

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    My formula that you use don't do this as you didn't asked in your previous thread.

    See if this is ok for you.

    That's great, thank you. I'm building something more in depth than originally needed and so this problem came up. Hopefully, that should resolve the issues.
