How to copy a formula to multiple cell ?

I have put a Excel formula in Cell A1 ....I want to copy this formula to A15000 cell.

    How do I copy ?

hold and drag down is inconvenient here ... because there are 15000 cells.....

Can I use shift key to copy formula all the way upto 15000 cell ? I am not sure how do I go about this and need help at this part.

Can you please suggest a quicker workaround ?

Shift-page down will select one screen down. Hold, and it will quickly select several pages. It will probably take several seconds to reach row 15000, but this is how I do it on the rare occasion that I need to select 15000 rows.

    i would copy the formula
i would goto the cell reference area and type in there the cell reference A15000 - so that cell A15000 is now selected
Hold the control key and the shift key and then use the up arrow
that will select all the cells from a15000 to a1
and then with the mouse over the highlighted cells
    paste

Excel's Name Box is directly above column A.
