    Creating size breakdowns with percentages

    Hello,

I need some help creating size breakdowns for sizes s,m,l,xl,xxl. I would like to put in a value such as 100 items total and excel spit out the amounts of s,m,l,xl,xxl corresponding with percentages to the specific sizes. For example, 100 items i want it to show s 10, m 30, l 40, xl 18 and xxl 2. and so on if i have 65 total quantities it excel would give me the exact amount of s,m,l,xl,xxl.

Thank you in advance! Also, i would rather not use a pivot table for this specific situation.

    Thanks!

Are you saying you want to enter a number and have Excel break it down into S,M,L,XL based on certain percentages or do you have these quantities in a particular column or row and you want Excel to sum them based on whether they are s,m, l, or xl? How is your data set up?

Re: Creating size breakdowns with percentages

Thanks for the response. I want Excel break it down into S,M,L,XL based on certain percentages. For example when i enter 80 units. I want excel to spit in separate columns the size breaks ex) S 16, M 24, and so on...
