New to excel, how to sum only item the have A in a colume

Hi there, I hope some one can help me out here

The problem I have

I have 6 columes in my spread sheet, The year, Comments, unit type, category, value and Addit comment
three of which are controls such as
1) the year
2) the unit it relates to
3) Value, such as income, expence, maintainence, management fees....

What I want is a search in this spread sheet of the cost of a particular unit ie Blue car, and all it's income

can you provide a sample workbook with expected results.

To attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include BEFORE/AFTER sheets if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Remember to desensitize the data.
