Check duplicate then compare latest version then give a value

Hello,

I am fairly new to excel and I occured a problem.
I have a list of entries were some have the same name.
If the name is the same, I want the newest(which is in de second colum) to have a value so I can sort it on this colum.

Can anyone help me with this?

Nobody with an option?
Looking for something like:
if cell=duplicate
then next cell
if highest value
then value=1

really stuck on this and I don't want to do this all by hand....2000+ entries
