    HOw to prevent data?

    Hi,

    I have some important data in my sheet which I always have to shared with my colleagues. I want to prevent my data from being copy. Is there any way to disable ctrl key or right click option or copy option in Excel?

    Please help.

    Hi isameer,

    You can protect your worksheet. As a default, all cells are automatically locked when your protect your worksheet, but if you would like some cells to be able to be changed after the protection, you can right click these cells > format cell > protection and uncheck the 'locked' box.

    Anyway, to lock the worksheet, at the top, go to the data tab and click protect sheet (this needs to be done on all worksheets). A box will appear and you can select what you would like users to be able to do to the cells. If you uncheck the 'select locked cells' box, they will not be able to copy the data.
