If Data from a cell in column A is matches a cell in column B range, column C result

Looking for some help with the correct formula to use. I've tried looking at conditional formulas, EXACT, If . . . nothing seems to quite hit the mark for what I'm trying to do.

I have a list of data in Column A, and I want to compare it to a longer list in Column B. If there is a match, then I want the result to be pulled from a cell in Column C.

As an example:

If A2 can be found in B2:B500 then result is C2

Hoping an expert on this forum can help :-)
