filter/sort between "text" cells and "general" cells

    Hello all,
I have a very large spreadsheet that has both "text" and "general" style formatting of cells.

I want to filter all my cells so that the "general" cells are at the bottom (or top) of my spreadsheet. Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance!

are the general cells just numbers? or a mixture of text and numbers? If they were number you could use conditional formatting to change the color of the cells and then sort or filter by color. if they both contain text I think you will need VBA to do this.
