    Formula Help

I need help creating a formula in the below attached spreadsheet. I have
to columns in Sheet 2 (YTD Visits, Recent Visit).

    · Sheet 2 (YTD Visits Column) = The formula needs to look into Sheet 1,
column F, then look at the date entries for the asset, and work out
how many times the asset has been visited. The test data in sheet 1
shows the asset has been visited twice on different dates.

    · Sheet 2 (Recent Visit) = The formula needs to at Column H in Sheet 1,
check the date entries for the asset and work out the recent visit at
    the asset, which should 01/08/12.

I would greatly appreciate if anyone can help with this.

    Re: Formula Help

    Hi Ace,

I've tried the formula in H2 but it doesn't show the data for "Bradford Area 1".

Also can you explain how these formulas work. Why have you the MAX function
