    Comparing Workbooks

Every month I receive a new set of data (allotment of resources) that I want to compare against the previous months data. The formatting month to month is the same and I want to create a third workbook that can compare these previous too. All of the information I want to compare is a general number format and all I have to see if differences MoM. For example:

    I want File "C" to show (File "A" - File "B")

The problem is though, I don't want to create a new File "C" everytime. If possible, I would like to have two cells where I can input the name of the files I want to compare (they'd always be saved in the same subdirectory) and ideally, all of the formulas in File "C" would read these two new file names and compare accordingly. Would this work or is there an easier way?

In File "C" it would read
    Cell A1 = Jan 2013
    Cell A2 = Feb 2013

The formulas in file C would read these to produce formulas like =('C:...JAN 2013,Tab1!A12 - 'C:...FEB 2013,Tab1!A12)

    Thanks!

    Re: Comparing Workbooks

    copy your workbook,
    go to worksheet C
    select All
    ctrl find
wrtie the old month workbook name then replace by the new workbook name then replace All.

hope it works. I used to do that.
