Trying to do a management report from trial balance (in Excel)

Imagine a list as follows (Sheet 1)

On sheet 2 I have a cell that needs the following from Sheet 1:
Total any values in column C that have 4001 and 4403 in the column A and place the total in this cell. (The actual requirement has a Code column of almost 100 codes, and the selection could be multiple, but not consecutive, codes.
What formula do I use? It seems SUMIFS needs consecutive cells to work.

Any suggestions please?
