    Stock Calculation

My assumptions are: I receive 100 bins on day 1 of each month. I issue the bins equally each week and there are four weeks in a month. The cost to store 1 bin is $10 per day. I am looking to insert 1 formula that calculates the monthly cost. I have attached a sample file.
    Thanks in advance

    Re: Stock Calculation

Thanks for your reply but both those formulas give the wrong answer. Stock days should be a variable.

    Re: Stock Calculation

The answer is 17 500 based on 7 days stock holding but I would like the number of days to be a variable field.

    Just an idea...

In J2 and copy down to J5.

    =COUNTA($A$2:$A$100)/4

    Then in J12, this one

    =I6*10*J2
