    Count totals in one column based on associations with another

    I have call duration times in column A. In column B, be I have a variety of ID numbers associated to each time in column A, however there can be multiple instances of the same ID number in column B. I'm trying to total the amount of time each ID in column B has associated to them in column A. How can I do this?

    Hi,

    You need to use a SUMIF formula, see attached example.

    Or with an pivot table.

    Or with sumproduct.
