Need Help for a Very Specific Type of Formula

I have the following sets of information:

    Structural Steel Member Sizes (i.e. W10X33, W10X30, W10X24)
    - There are approximately 200 of these

These Members are either a Column or a Beam.

Depending on whether they are a Column or a Beam the Surface area of the Member is different for each of the 200 Members.

I have an excel list of all steel members, a list of the surface areas of the members if they are a column, and a list of the surface areas if they are a beam.

If I create a drop down box in a cell with all of the members, and in the next cell a drop down box to select whether it is a column or a beam, is it possible to then have it automatically give me the surface area number in the next column based off of the other lists.

So what I want is to be able to select the member from my drop down box. Then select in the next column whether it is a column or a beam. And then it will give me the surface area based on these 2 selections in the next column.

This would help me avoid having to look up the corresponding surface areas of each different steel member after choosing which type of member.

If someone can help me with this ASAP it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance.

You can handle this with an IF and VLOOKUP combination formula. A sample is attached.
