Rmove"=" symbol for data addion in Excel 2007

    Hello Expert,

In addition for data i am required to put = and then data follows. e.g. =567+788, any way I can format cell to accept entry as 567+788 ? this will save lot of time!
    Thanks

Yes, but you'll need three columns. Enter 567 in column A, 788 in column B and then =A+B in column C.

Hi Nice to hear from you! say if I have to add 2 and 3 in a cell, i have to first insert symbol = and then data 2+3 to get addition result as 5. All I want to save time by avoiding typing key = and enter only 2+3.
Currently if I do not put = before 2+3 the cell display 2+3. I have huge data to enter avoiding = key will save time. Thanks

The = or + is required by Excel to understand that you are entering a formula, you can type +2+3 and you will get 5 and in the formula bar you will see that formula as =+2+3 but the correct way to enter it is with the = sign.
