Using drop down box selection to populate the row based on values in a separate worksheet

    Hi all,

I have been searching these threads but cant seem to find the solution to my problem. Here is what I am doing:

I am going to record my food intake daily. Therefore, I have created a small database in 'Sheet 2'. This includes many types of foods and their nutritious contents. In sheet 1, I have created a drop down box which allows me to select which food's I have eaten during the day. For each food that I select, I want the nutritious content (as outlined in Sheet2) to automatically appear in the adjacent cells next to the drop down box.

To make things a little more confusing, If possible I want the 'nutritious content' values to change depending on the serving size that I select (this will be done in Sheet1). I have attached a worksheet as I understand that this may sound confusing - but it should be very straight forward once you see it!

    Any help would be great.
    Cheers

I would start with this In C3:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Drag across and down

with sample, assuming a 1 in b3 this will return the values of columns B-I of sheet 2, if B3 =.75, it would return 75% of those values, etc..

    Hope this helps

    EDIT-

    added the workbook

A picture may be worth a thousand words, BUT, a sample Workbook is worth a thousand screenshots!
