    Problem with remainder

    I work for a distribution company.
    A snap shot of info we get via a spread sheet is:

    36000. Books sent to London.

    The loads are broken down into pallets and the pallets are always the same quantity; 1820.
    For a load of the quantity mentioned the ammount of pallets we need is 36000 / 1820.
    Teh a answer is we need 19 full pallets in this case + 1 part pallet of 1420.
    Based on the fact that I am only provided with the full qty (36000 as an example in this case);
    Is there a formula which will break this down to tell me how many Full pallets I will need and also the qty of the part pallet?
    I have tried this but the only way I can do it at present is by manually working it out:
    I.e.
    FULL QTY/1820
    Taking the whole number ( in the above example 19),
    Multiplying this number by 1820 in order to get the ammount of books are on FULL pallets.
    Then take this number away from the FULL qty required in order to find out the part pallet qty.
    Phew! Long winded or what!

    Any help from anyone is very much appreciated
