Please help with fixing the error in grand total percentage. The percentage should be 50% ($300-$200)/$200 instead of the generated 225%. Many thanks in advance.

The sum of % is correct, but not what you need
Add a calculated field with formula =(Income-Expense)/Expense

See the attached file where I used a calculated filed in pivot table to achieve your desired %.

Its already added...
To add this, click on pivot -> go to top ribbon option "ANALYZE"-> "Fields, Items & Sets"->Calculated field.
click on the drop down on the field "Name"and there you'll see the calculated field and the formula in the next field
