Question Convert Long Written Excel Date to Proper Date

How would I turn a "sentence" like "Monday March 18, 2013" into a proper date like 03/18/2013?

    Try this

    =REPLACE(A1,1,FIND(" ",A1),"")+0

Format the cell with the formula in the date format of your choice.

    Thanks for the response.

I did find a very long about way of doing it but thought I would share.
I used the "Text to Columns" feature to separate each part of the "sentence" and was then able to reformat the data as needed and then concatenate the data simply using = A1 & "/" & A2 etc.
