    Maximum drinks for minimum ingredients.

    Hi All,
I'm building myself a personal Cocktail Bar. I've got a lot of recipes and entered them into a spreadsheet.
I need to run some kind of analysis on the spreadsheet to work out the most number of individual drinks I can get from the minimum/commonest ingredients. Does that make sense?
    It would work like this:
Which Base ingredient (make this user selectable to make the analysis run along a different Base ingredient if required), has the highest number of uses in different drink recipes? Example answer = White Rum.
Which drink recipes use this Base ingredient?
Of these recipes, which is the next commonest ingredient, (make this user selectable to make the analysis run along a different ingredient if required)? Example answer = Lime Juice.
Which drink recipes use this Base and 2nd ingredients?
Of these recipes, which is the next commonest ingredient, (make this user selectable to make the analysis run along a different ingredient if required)? Example answer = Pineapple Juice.
    Etc, etc.
At some point I know that I must get down to single/unique ingredients. At this point, I need to show (print out as a shopping list) the Common Ingredients, the further, single ingredients, and the Cocktails Names.

I can use Excel at a basic level, but this is WAY above my ability. Can anyone help me please?

    Thanks in advance,

    Andy.
