find 3 out of 5 highest cell #s

I would like to obtain a formula that would allow cells B3 thru F3 to record 3 out of 5 highest numbers posted , cell G3 to record total of those 3 cells, cell H3 to give the average of the total.

I struggle to understand what you mean.
"a formula that would allow cells B3 thru F3 to record 3 out of 5 highest numbers posted". There are numbers posted somewhere? And you like B3 to F3 to record them?

I assume you want a formula in cell G3 that sums up the three largest numbers in range B3:F3.
Cell H3 should have a formula giving the average.
