    Help with "IF" function

    Hello,

    Can some help me with this. Been working for almost an hour now but still I can't figure it out.

    What I was trying to do is this. Rating% = 5 >95%, 4 >93% , 3 >=92% , 2 <92%, 1 <87%

    So I have created the below formula. and I gues it's working for whole numbers.

    =IF(OR(E3="",E3>=94),5,IF(E3=92,3,IF(E3=93,4,IF(E3<=87,1,IF(E3<=91,2)))))

    My problem is, whenever I enter the number in E3, instead of saying "1"

    What i wanted to do is, whenever I put in the percentage in E3, it should display the correct number in the given criteria.

    Example: If I enter 90.01%, then it should display "2", If i enter "85.86%" it should display "1", if I enter "95.00%", then it should display "5"

    Please help :'(

    Re: Help with "IF" function

    You need to remember that percentages are fractions, so you need to put decimal points before each of those numbers.

    Hope this helps.
