Hello !

Let's say you have a match between Arsenal and Chelsea and you want to bet on this match in order to make profit.
e.g. If Arsenal wins the quote multiplier is 2; if Chelsea wins the the quote multiplier will be 12; and, if the score would be equal at the end of the match then the quote multiplier will be 6.
A friend of mine developed a smart betting strategy in order to make profit almost every time.
The strategy is as follow:
Arsenal is the most expected will win the match because it has the lowest quote else the match is the most expected and in the last hope an equal would be expected.
Now, according to his strategy, you should bet 100$ on equal quote so if there it will be equal then you will win 12 x 100$ = 1200$. But, what if Arsenal win ? According to his strategy you should bet on Arsenal also (on the other ticket). But, how much to bet on Arsenal ? Fairly simple, you must bet as follow:
W x 2 = 100$ (you bet $100 on equal) which means w=100/2=50. You should bet 50$ on Arsenal if you want to be breakeven and recover your possible loss in the case where it would NOT be an equal math.

So, briefly, you try to win $1200 by betting $100 on equal and the same time you try to recover your loss if the equal will not take place and Arsenal win the match.
And that's it ! This is all the strategy.

But the problem is the following:
How do you find out and how you do it in excel this, if you want to protect 100% your money and want to bet on the Chelsea too in order to recover all of your money (bet on equal+bet on Arsenal).

Basically, the relations between all of these three bets are as follow:
Bet on the equal must recover the bet on the Arsenal + bet on Chelsea, in the case there it would be an equal.
Bet on Arsenal must recover the bet on equal and the bet on Chelsea.
Bet on Chelsea must recover the bet on Arsenal and the bet on equal.

How to find out how much to bet on each one of them ?
Is there any way to do it on Excel, please ?

Thank you so much !
