    Help ranking in league table

    Hi,

    Can someone help me rank my results in a league table, I need cells AE3:AE10 ranked in order by the name in cell A3:A10 on the league table in cells Z17:Z24 as & when the results change.

    Any help would be much appreciated as it's driving me mad.

    I've attached the worksheet.

    try this

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    change 1 to 2,3,4,5... etc for the nth largest value
    ie 1 for highest
    2 for 2nd highest
    and this will return the name

    Thanks Sean, if there is a duplicate score this won't show correctly i.e the bottom two are equal with 32 points. When I add these as rank 7 & 8 it duplicates the name of rank 7. Any idea how I can fix this?

    Look at the yellow cells (incl range AE3:AE10)
