Cell display not working

Hello everyone

Please see the attached file.

The rows labelled »Results« (left-hand column on page 1) are connected to the cells on page 2 where all results are collected and simultaneously “translated” into pitch-names.

If the cells on page 1 do not contain a value, the result-cells on page 2 nonetheless display a ‘b≠’.
I would need them to be empty.

Any advice is appreciated.

the results formula needs to be
=IF(B2=1,B1+B3,IF(B2=2,B1-B3,""))
