Subtracting Date and Time

Hi Guys and Gals,

I am having a problem here with this Date and Time E.G. Please take a look at the file that i have uploaded

I want the Column E to show the total duration or Time spent for the cases, it should appears like this

NO. Case # Opened Age Status
1 1039529 7/2/12 5:45 PM 200Days 3 hours and 53 Min Escalated
2 1039808 7/6/12 12:27 PM Waiting-Assigned
3 1039839 7/6/12 5:42 PM Escalated

Some thing like that So in column E the format is Number of Days:Hours:Min with the Day written beside it... is that possible?

Thanks in Adv.

Re: Subtracting Date and Time

The value you have in cell I2 is not a date/time value. there is no 14:45:00 PM It's either 2:45 pm or 14:45.

To add to what Ben just said...remove the PM from I2, it will change to a proper date
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
