Array Formula: Ctrl+Shift+Enter does not work

Hi all

I am 120% new to this forum and any help is much appreciated!!

I have the following Array Formula:

=IF($A4=1,IFERROR(INDEX(B$3:B$20,SMALL(IF($A$3:$A$20=0,ROW($A$3:$A$20)-ROW($A$3)+1),COUNTIF($A$3:A3,$A$3))),""),"")

When I paste the formula ein Excel 2010 and confirm the entry with Ctrl+Shift+Enter I get the message that the formula is wrong but I am pretty sure that this is right. Also, Excel does not add the "{" braces.

Any idea? Any feedback would be appreciated!! The formula is supposed to be in G4 and H4 and the copied down.

hi georg,

please check if you need to replace all the commas in the formula with semicolons owing to the usual European locale settings.

the formula works perfectly on my computer because my settings use commas as separators. i cannot confirm the results because i cannot open your second attachment (224495). the result that i get in G4 is 25.
