How to add cells with d\:hh:mm:ss format to get the total no. of days OR Months

Hello All,


I am using excel to get the downtime of equipments used in my office...i am facing problem to get sum of 2 cells into 1 cell in d\:hh:mm:ss format but with total no. of days OR in months:days:hours:minutes:seconds format OR days:hours:minutes:seconds..


Problem i am facing is it doesnot provide appropriate data if sum is more than 31 days i suppose.....

Please any one can help me to get the total in format days:hours:minutes:seconds or months:days:hours:minutes:seconds

Assuming your data is in:
A1: 13/04/2013 08:00:56
B1: 05/05/2013 16:12:21
C1: =B1-A1 And format the cell as: d"d" hh:mm:ss
