Concatenate 6 columns, produce all combinations comprised of the 6 variables in order

Trying to establish a part number naming convention. There are 6 columns of variables. I only need combinations that utilize all 6 variables. The actual order of the variables should not change from result to result.

eg.

a b c d e f
FL 1 GL
VL 5 GU etc.
6 QC

To produce
FL-1-GL
FL-1-GU
...
VL-6-QC

etc.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt

No, sorry. I need something that will match A1,2,3 etc. with all unique, ordered combinations for variables in column B, C, etc.

Hi

perhaps it would be easier to help if you uploaded a sample workbook, showing a few examples of your expected outcome, as well as how you arrived at them
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Regards
Ford
