Can any one help with a formula to count how many time data seperated by a comma shows up
E.g Cell F3 has 1,2,3,6 Cell F4 has 2,3,7 i need a formula that can count how many 1s 2s 3s ect
I have Tried CountIF but it has not worked
Any Suggestions?

How large are the numbers, do you go in to double or treble figures?
I assume there will only be one instance (maximum) of each number per cell?

the numbers are 1-19 no treble figues
The numbers will have one instance per cell.
I need to sum up a collum and know how many 1s have been typed ect

-Add a File - click advanced (next to quick post), scroll to manage attachments, click, select add files, click select files, select file, click upload, when file shows up at bottom left, click done (bottom right), click submit
