ok so what happened was i made these templates in excel 2003 and they basicaly are supposed to count how many items in the bag against how many total required in a bag. for example there should be 200 pieces in a kit, but i only have 20 peices out of the 200. so lets say there is five kits, each one should have 200 peices in them but they dont. kit 1 has 20 out of 200, kit 2 has 15 out of 200, kit 3 has 10 out of 200, etc. the kits are set up in rows, at the end of each row all these kits need to be summed and showing a percentage filled. my problem is that we have been playing with these spreadsheets so much that now when more items come in our shipments and we fill the bags up to complete each kit, the sums are not summing themselves. so if kit 1 had 20 peices and i added 20 more pieces, the sum should automatically make 40 total in the bag. but its not doing that. it just stays at 20 and the percentage of course doesnt go up. there is too much info already done to these sheets. i dont want to start over. i have checked to see if the colums are number or general, the check out fine and this was not happening yesterday. i dont know what could have been pressed or done to make them stop working. i already actually tried to clear everything in the worksheet. i didnt delete the worksheet i just deleted what was in there and i took all the formatting off. that didnt fix it. after i spent hours realigning and reformatting and summing its still didnt calculate. that was just one sheet out of like 30 sheets with like 50 kits a piece. what do i do??????????
