Customer Details on Invoice drop down box

    Good morning everyone

I am a complete beginner with Excel so please bear with me on this and I apologise if its already been covered.

I have looked everywhere for an idiots guide to solve this problem.

I need to create a list of customer Names, Addresses, Post/Zip code. that will appear in a drop down box on an invoice.

    In this format if possible

    Mr Smith
    21 Finkle Street
    London
    L1 2XX

Can anyone explain in idiots terms how I can do this or even just a link to another page/video of how to do it.

Another possibility does anyone have a fully useable template that I could download that would allow me to add customer details, products, prices etc.
    Regards Rockhopper.

If I am not mistaken, and anyone can feel free to correct me, a drop-down list can only contain values on ONE line. With your current layout, you could select the name OR the address OR the other ones. One way that you could solve this is my having a drop down list of the names only. When the user selects a name, you could auto-populate the fields below it with the person's address information.

    Rockhopper,
have a look at this sample file "books for you". you basically have a client list (customer names) that you assign a code to. This could be 1,2,3 etc or a,b,c etc whatever. In cell E7 enter the customer code, and the address info is populated with vlookup automatically. This looks like the format you want. The second half is a book code lookup, that you enter the book code and quantity only. Vlookup does the rest. this can easilly be modified to your needs.
