Trying to determine a way to select a range of values and compare that range of values

    Hey Excel Forum,

I'm new and trying to create a new column in my current excel sheet. I hope you guys can help me.

I'd like this column to check another column and display if this is the lowest value or if this is the highest value in that column.

    Example

    New Column Values
    N/A 5
    N/A 3
    Low Point 1
    High Point 10
    Low Point 1
    N/A 3

    Thanks for the help!

If I could ammend my previous statement. I'd like it to redo the check based on a new system. Something more like this.
    Example

    System New Column Values
    1 N/A 5
    1 N/A 3
    1 Low Point 1
    1 High Point 10
    1 Low Point 1
    1 N/A 3
    2 N/A 5
    2 N/A 3
    2 Low Point 1
    2 High Point 10
    2 Low Point 1
    2 N/A 3

    Thanks for the help!
